Event Description

*****5/27/2020 DUE TO THE RESTRICTIONS REGARDING THE NUMBER OF ENTRIES, THIS SHOW IS FULL AND IS NOW CLOSED TO ADDITIONAL RIDERS. THANKS TO THE RIDERS WHO SUBMITTED THEIR ENTRIES EARLY, AND TO ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND UNDERSTANDING.


Serenity Valley Farm's Spring H/J schooling show is sanctioned by the Dayton Local Show Circuit. All placings qualify for DLSC Year End Awards, including Jumper classes.

Plenty of parking in our road-accessible pasture.
70' x 135' warm up arena, 155' x 230' arena for competition and final warm ups.
Hunter classes from Ground Poles through 2'9". Three jumper classes from 2' to 2'9".

Please be sure and read the information available for details on entry requirements (ie: must have a current negative coggins), refund policies, and procedures put in place for social distancing.

Change for 2020 -- Office Fee: $15 per horse/rider pair (listed as Mandatory Office Charge in this system)

If you have submitted an entry through Blue Horse Entries in the past, just update your information and you are ready to begin your entry. If you are new to Blue Horse Entries, you will first need to create a rider account. If you are a parent/guardian for a rider under 18, you will need to create an account for yourself, and add your rider to your account. It's fast and simple! Note: Open to riders/horses with very limited experience. To show at a trot, taking a jumping position over each pole. Flat class to show at the walk and trot. To be judged on the horse.

#4 - Jumping: Ground Poles Equitation on the Flat $12.00

Waiver/Release :

In consideration for my admission to this Serenity Valley Farm show, I agree to enter this show at my own risk. I understand that equestrian sports are inherently dangerous, and I am willing to assume any risk involved to myself, my family and guest, my horse(s), my vehicles and additional property. I further agree to hold harmless the show management, their volunteers, officials, and property owners for any damage, loss, injury suffered during this show or while on show grounds, or any illness brought on by attendance at this show. I have read and fully understand this release and consent to these conditions to enter this show.

Refund/Changes Policy :

100% refund (minus processing charges) if refund requested before Saturday, May 30.

No refunds after May 29.

Ride Times :

An estimated schedule of ride times per division/class will be posted to the website no later than Friday evening, May 29.

Schooling Instructions :

Arena will be open for ground pole competitors only 15 minutes prior to the start of the show.

Open schooling is available after the show for $10. Please include class #35 Post Show Open Schooling in your entry or see the secretary at the show.

Stabling Information :

No stabling available at this show.

Coggins Policy :

ALL horses on grounds are required to have a current (within 1 year) negative coggins. If a copy is not included with entry or emailed prior to the show, one MUST be presented when checking in. Failure to have a valid coggins will result in being asked to leave the show grounds immediately and forfeiture of any paid fees.

You can upload your Coggins with your horse, and submit it with your entry via Blue Horse Entries. If questions on how to do this, please contact Blue Horse Entries at coggins@bluehorseentries.com.

Attire Policy :

ASTM helmets required of ANY rider when mounted.

Braiding not required. Coats not required but encouraged if possible (will be waived for safety if weather dictates).

Food and Drink :

Bridle Run Riding Team will be supplying the food and drink for this show. More details can be found on our website and facebook page as they become available. Please show your support to these wonderful young riders!

Special Directions :

Riders MUST include an Office Fee per horse/rider pair. (called Mandatory Office Charge in this system)

Coggins may be submitted with entry or brought to the show office upon arrival.

Parking :

Parking will be in the pasture field just to the north of the house and main drive. Main driveway is restricted access to show staff, volunteers, and SVF boarders only unless special arrangements have been made.

Other :

1. NO dogs please.
2. No access to either barn. Water can be obtained by outdoor spigots.
3. Please keep in mind Ohio guidance and recommendations for social distancing during this show.
4. If you are or have been ill within the 2 weeks preceding the show, please do not come! If anyone in your immediate living situation is or has been sick during the week immediately preceding the show, do not come!
