Event Description

Champagne Run Farm is hosting the first of it's series of mini trial, combined tests and dressage classes on March 22nd. Bring all of your friends and join us for a fun and casual show experience! Champagne Run boasts an inviting cross country course that will be great for the green horse or rider, or for those looking to move up a level.

All entries ONLINE only. If you have submitted an entry through Blue Horse Entries in the past, just update your information (INCLUDING A CURRENT COGGINS) and you are ready to begin your entry. If you are new to Blue Horse Entries you will first need to create a rider account. If you are a parent/guardian for a rider under 18 you will need to create an account for yourself and add your rider to your account. It's fast and simple! I hereby assume this risk and further do hereby release and hold harmless Champagne Run Farm, Inc. and its employees and representatives, the organizer(s), volunteers, judges, officials, sponsors, and any other show staff or affiliates from all liability for any accident, damage, injury, illness, or other harms that may befall any horses, riders, employees, attendants, spectators or any person or property of owners in connection with this show while on or off the premises.
Warning: Under Kentucky law, a farm animal activity sponsor, farm animal professional, or other person does not have the duty to eliminate all risks of injury of participation in farm animal activities. There are inherent risks of injury that you voluntarily accept if you participate in farm animal activities-KRS 247.4072. (Parent or legal guardian must sign if rider is under age 18)

BY SUBMITTING THIS ENTRY, I AGREE to be bound by all applicable rules, terms, and provisions for this clinic. I am signing and submitting this Agreement electronically, and I acknowledge that my electronic signature shall have the same validity, force, and effect as if I affixed my signature by my own hand.

Refund/Changes Policy :

Before closing date: less $20 office fee and handling fee. After closing date: none.

Bad weather cancellation - none.

Withdrawals must be made in writing and emailed to the Show Secretary by 9:00 PM, closing date.

No guarantee of acceptance. Incomplete entries/Coggins/missing fees are considered late as of Close Date. Fee for ANY changes after Close Date is $20.

Entry Status :

Entry status will be posted on the Champagne Run website and will be updated weekly. No guarantee of acceptance. Incomplete entries/Coggins/missing fees are considered late as of Close Date.

LATE ENTRIES: If accepted, must email the show secretary to check for class availability prior to submitting a late entry. Late entry fee $35.

Ride Times :

Ride times will be posted on Champagne Run website, www.champagnerun.com, by March 19, 2020.

Stabling Information :

Available onsite for $50 per night, but very limited. Signup online, when submitting entry, and email show secretary to confirm.

Hay, Grain, Shavings Information :

Bedding, feed, and water buckets not included, please bring your own.

Coggins Policy :

Negative Coggins dated withing 12 months must accompany each entry. Must also have current health certificate on hand while at event.

To upload your Coggins, from your Blue Horse Entries account, go to your virtual barn under the Horses tab, where you can either Add Horse (if new) or Edit Horse (if existing). That is where you can upload your Coggins. If you get stuck or have any questions, please contact Blue Horse Entries at coggins@bluehorseentries.com.

Attire Policy :

Coats and braiding not required. Must have certified helmet on at all times while mounted.

Medical Arm Bands :

Medical armbands or bracelets required for all jumping.

Special Directions :

From I-75, take exit 104 (Lexington - Athens). If traveling south on I-75, turn right toward Lexington at the top of the exit ramp. If traveling north, turn left. Drive 3 miles to the second stoplight. Turn left onto Old Richmond Road (Route 25 / 421 South.) Champagne Run is approximately 3.5 miles on the left (next farm entrance on left after passing church on the left).

Following signs, and directions provided by volunteers.

Awards for 1 - 10 place.

We are a TIP registered show and TIP awards will be given. Be sure to list your horse’s TIP number under special instructions.

Dressage test readers will be permitted in the Walk/Trot and Starter divisions, and in dressage only classes.

Dogs welcome but must be on leash at all time.

Riders Under 18

Great! We are glad you want to ride and we want to help with your entry.

Because it requires consent from an adult parent or guardian, your parent/guardian must create an account and submit the entry on your behalf. It's quick and easy--and you can even help them if you need to do that! Have a good ride!
