Walnut Trace Farm, established in 2008, is a privately owned English riding facility. We strive to make our day clinics an experience that all the participants will treasure. We have an exciting schedule lined up! Our mission is to build confidence both on and off the horse while teaching children the fundamentals of horsemanship and horse safety. While we love riding, we think that horse knowledge and excellent horse care are just as important. We focus on pairing riders with safe and appropriate mounts. This not only adds to a safe environment, it also allows for the participants to bond with their horses. The clinics will include both mounted and un-mounted lessons. Daily activities will include riding lessons, ground lessons with horses, crafts, games, and much more! If you are interested in having a great week of riding, horse care, grooming, and learning about horses...then Walnut Trace is the place for you!
The Clinics will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis as we receive completed registrations and clinic deposits. Limited spaces are available as we strive to keep our clinics small enough for riders to enjoy individual attention. Every year, we get requests from riders who had so much fun in an earlier session, they want to attend an additional session. If you think your child will want to attend more than one session, please sign up early. Each year, we must turn away riders who want to add another session. Riders can attend one, two, three or four sessions. If the session you want to sign up for is full, please email Grace at gjohnson@walnuttracefarm.com to be added to the wait list.
